Post by Butterfly of Doom » Tue Oct 27, 2015 7:49 pm

I propose we get a mayoral debate..since time zones vary..hold it on the forums

"Utterly' is my favorite way to destroy something." - Alecta

I like the idea and I'm happy to be a part of it!

We have an event planned for the first weekend in Nov that will be a public debate with open questions from the population. I do not have a problem with putting a "televised" debate on the forums too. That would work very well. Maybe have people send in questions they want asked. We need a neutral moderator.

I'm on board for both debates!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to digging up dirt on Sir Jerry...

I would reply in a cool, calm, and collected way if I knew what you were talking about...

True, you have to be strong, resilient, opportunistic, slimy, sneaky, and immoral to make it in the political game for sure. It's why Sir Jerry is so cool :)

One day, Nick is gonna call her Chief Cho, and she's gonna ream him a new orifice :p

And I like the idea of a televised, formal debate and a less structured "town hall" meeting style one. Those're two of the top formats for U.S. Presidential election debates.

If we do that, make sure the candidates posts are all out-of-order, that they go over their time to make their posts, and that they interrupt each other constantly. That way we can most accurately simulate US Presidential Debates.

@Mr. Strong @bluephalkon @Angelina Sinclair @chyleste @Diannah DeCuirnnah

Guys state here when you can do the next mayor debate and we'll try and tie up our schedules as best we can. I'm pretty flexible so should be able to fit in with you all.

Saturday at 10:17 am Greenwich time, and only then! :)

J/k, nearly any time this weekend will do, just no starting times beyond 5 pm SLT. Otherwise, you may have to pull my head off the keyboard. ;)
