With Mayor Weaver remaining nowhere to be found, and most of the cabinet being unreachable, though their influence is still felt in multiple areas of the city as construction crews were on standby contracts to complete multiple buildings for the flailing government body. With the city's foundation beginning to stabilize, the offices are beginning to fill back up with volunteer government workers who are beginning to establish order in the city once again through review of the current law systems.
Causality numbers from the meteor falls continue to be reported in as bodies have been unearthed from multiple rubble sites. While our hearts go out to the families of those who's names are no longer on the missing list, it's little comfort to know those found can now, hopefully, rest in peace.
In direct response to Timber's announcement of his intention to run for mayor, a second candidate rose to the podium and had a lot to say about the habits, loyalties, and past of the current favourite. By calling him out on multiple mistakes of the past and admissions of guilt, the shadow case by Delphine Taggat has citizens beginning to become polarized on the issue of who may be replacing absent mayor Weaver.
The Solar Farms are reporting good numbers and new management this week. While the government contract taken out hasn't run out, the contract was picked up by a fledgling private company. No changes will be made to the policies and power to the city will continue to be available free of charge but the company responsible for the building of the panels and development of the farm wishes to remain anonymous.
Though they did indicate they will be offering smaller solar panels for commercial use and hinted at further energy projects to improve the lives of Celestial Citizens.
At the back of the newspaper there is an add, down in the corner, small, but decorated with skulls and dancing skeletons. The text at the top is bold, the body text flowery cursive. The skulls all smiled back at the reader.
"Bored? Looking to add some excitement to your night? Do you enjoy being in dirty places with dirty people and partying?
Then maybe I have a job for you, if you enjoy dark parties in seedy places, with possibly less than ok party favors and attendees, then you should apply. I am looking for someone to DJ a party for me. There will be ample pay, and some terms and conditions."
At the bottom of the add there is contact information for a "SKELLY". A phone number, no email or address.
