Steel Dragon (Jaron)

Post by Drexia » Mon Jan 29, 2018 1:56 am

SL NAME (Display Name and Screen Name): Nirrae

HERO/VILLAIN NAME: Steel Dragon

CHARACTER TYPE (Hero, villain, or citizen?):
Hero
CIVILIAN/ALTER EGO NAME:
Jaron
AGE (all characters must be at least 18):
1.5 years. But due to genetic memory he is the equivalent of a human at the age of 25-30.
CHARACTER'S BACKSTORY :

Jaron, much like Drexia is an explorer. While he is a lot less experienced and essentially a prototype he does share some of the same ideals. He first came to the city in order to simply find a place to rest after a long journey but soon found that it may also be a perfect testing ground.

He doesn't quite share Drexias non interference policy and will get himself involved, trying to make the city a better place, even if he may not have a place in it. Of course his main motive is just as much about testing himself as it is to save lives. He strives to one day get some measure of acceptance in the city and will go far in what he believes can help him achieve that. Generally by trying to prove to everyone that he isn't evil or out to eat them.

Steel dragon is for all intents and purposes a PAE built machine through and through. At least as far as anyone knows.

POWERS: List your character's powers, and describe the limits of the powers (i.e. Super strength: hits with 10 tons maximum blunt force). If you need ideas, go to the following website: http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/List ... _Abilities
Super Powers:

1. Nexan biology:
Being a Nexan he has incredibly advanced biology. This gives him the ability to create small biological machines on the fly as long as he has biomatter on hand. The Nexans also have a central fusion reactor in their bodies and Jaron is no different. This reactor is used for several purposes such as breaking down what they eat, powering their magnetic propulsion organs, providing energy through internal photosynthesis etc. Essentially they are adapted to travel through space without external help.

2. Armored scales:
Jarons body is covered by incredibly durable scales. They are however evolved to break when damaged, absorbing damage in the process. This armor then rapidly heals in the area it was hit as long as there is energy and materials available for it.

3. Plasma blasts:
Nexans can channel plasma from their reactor to both propel themselves through space and into a variety of attacks such as plasma beams, bolts or basically fire. Using the magnetic propulsion organs and an ionized plasma channel they can also direct electrical attacks. The ionized plasma is also used for propulsion in atmosphere, allowing them to reach high speeds in order to leave a planets gravity well.

4. Enhanced senses:
As Nexans are evolved to explore space their senses are extremely advanced, allowing them to scan for a variety of particles, anomalies and spatial disruptions as well as more mundane things such as being able to scan a persons body or gear. There is however no guarantee that it will work as many things are shielded against or disruptive of sensors.

Limitations: His biomatter supply is shared with his armor, so if he uses biomatter it will be at a cost of HP as it were. Heavy impacts on his armored scales will send shards of them flying off like shrapnel which may injure people nearby.

NOTICE: TECH AND MAGIC USERS:

Exotic ((uncommon)) Technology and magic are regarded as -sources- of power that allow access to -powers- or -spells-
All items or spells that are going to be used in roleplay -must- be listed and approved. We cannot write a blank cheque for spells or pieces of technology. We cannot allow spells or technology that can affect characters be -made up on the spot-

I'll list the biomatter stuff he can currently use here.
1. Surveillance drone: He creates a small drone/probe that can be used to provide surveillance and enter buildings etc. (Uses 10% of his biomatter supply but can be reclaimed if the drone is returned/eaten)
2. Countermeasure drones: He rapidly launches a number of simple drones that will ram missile based projectiles to cause them to explode prematurely. (Uses 2% of his biomatter supply per drone)
3. Biomatter restraint: He will launch a glob of biomatter at a target. This biomatter will then attempt to envelop the targets body up to the neck and harden, thus holding it in place. (Uses 5% of his biomatter supply)
4. Explosive drone: He will launch a large drone filled with volatile chemicals that can explode violently on command. (Uses 10% of his biomatter supply)

WEAKNESSES (Unless otherwise stated, you have all normal human weaknesses):
While his armor can stand up to quite a bit of punishment he will eventually run out of materials, which stops the armor from healing further until he has a chance to get away and recharge for several hours or optionally eat something rich in carbon. If the armor is breached his insides do not heal at the same rate and may leave him crippled for days as his body heals.

Being large doesn't help when trying to evade attacks, While he is able to do so fairly well in the air, he is not very agile on the ground.
His size makes him unable to enter many buildings.
His heat signature is quite strong so most anti aircraft weapons will be able to lock on without much trouble.
If someone is able to hit him with an EMP without him being prepared for it he will get knocked out temporarily.

Day Job (Optional): Director of Operations at PAE.

You should send this to an admin, we don't usually approve cards just from posting on the forums.

Oh gotcha, I saw the name and thought it was a new character, didn't realize it was just a rename. Nothing to see here. :P
